Mayor of Yassıköy meets with Regional Governor Topsidis
The Mayor of Yassıköy, Caner İmam, held a meeting with the Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Hristodoulos Topsidis, on February 11, 2025. The discussion focused on the needs, challenges, and demands of the municipality and its residents.
During the meeting, Mayor İmam also highlighted various projects aimed at improving the well-being of the local population. Expressing his satisfaction with the discussion, he extended his gratitude to Governor Topsidis.
Following the meeting, Mayor İmam made the following statement:
“Since the beginning of our tenure, we have been working diligently to ensure the development and prosperity of our municipality and its people. We continue to engage with key officials at higher levels, striving to bring our ideas, efforts, and projects to life.
In this regard, I had the opportunity today to meet with Mr. Hristodoulos Topsidis, Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. We had the chance to discuss matters concerning our municipality and our citizens. I would like to sincerely thank Governor Topsidis, who welcomed our proposals positively and expressed his support for our initiatives, on behalf of myself, my administration, and the people of our region.”
Mayor İmam emphasized that this meeting marked a significant step toward future collaborations and expressed his determination to implement projects that would bring value to the region.
