Marianthi Maliaroudaki elected as President of Xanthi Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Xanthi Chamber of Commerce and Industry elections, held on November 1 and 2, 2024, concluded with Marianthi Maliaroudaki emerging victorious. A total of 1,400 members cast their votes.
Maliaroudaki's list secured 61.1% of the votes, defeating long-serving president Stelios Moraitis, whose list received 38.9%. The winning list gained 14 out of the 21 seats on the board, while Moraitis’ list secured seven seats.
Among the elected board members, only three are from the minority community. From Maliaroudaki's list, Fatih Türkmen (trade section) and Hayrettin Nurdedinoğlu (production section) were elected. From Moraitis' list, Erkan Kiracı was elected in the production section.
Maliaroudaki expressed gratitude for the support, pledging to deliver on promises of growth and innovation for local businesses.
