"Let's go to the mosque, children" program rewards participants with cultural trip
The program, initiated by Şehreküstü Mosque Imam Orhan Bülbül, muezzin Rıdvan Ahmetçik, and the mosque congregation, aimed to inspire children to love attending the mosque, performing prayer, and participating in congregational prayer. The program successfully concluded in August.
The first edition of the program was held in July. Children who attended the mosque regularly and prayed with the congregation were rewarded with a variety of gifts at the end of the month.
Students showed great interest in the July program, and this enthusiasm continued into the August edition as well.
Those who accumulated 1,500 points by attending congregational prayers at the mosque throughout the month of August were rewarded with a cultural trip to the Çanakkale Martyrs' Memorial.
On Saturday, September 28, 2024, children, accompanied by their parents, participated in the trip to the Çanakkale Martyrs' Memorial.
Imam Orhan Bülbül expressed his gratitude to the students, their parents, and everyone who provided material and moral support to ensure the success of the program.
In his statement, Bülbül said, "We successfully completed the second edition of our 'Let's Go to the Mosque, Children' program, which we launched for the students of the Şehreküstü Mosque Qur'an Course and other children. The reward for the month of August was a cultural trip. On Saturday, September 28, 2024, we organized a visit to the Çanakkale Martyrs' Memorial. May God bless everyone, including the students and supportive parents, who contributed to the program."
