Intense interest for the FEP Party in Şapçı
The President of the FEP Party Çiğdem Asafoğlu, the MEP candidates and the executives of the party were welcomed with great interest by the cognates living in Şapçı and coming to Şapçı from neighbouring villages.
The party members also visited the public bazaar in Şapçı, where they had the opportunity to come together with the tradesmen and the kinsmen and had the opportunity to chat closely.
FEP Party MEP parliamentary candidates, who performed Friday prayers together with the cognates in the Çarşı mosque and Hamidiye mosque in Şapçı, thanked the intense interest of the cognates.
Addressing the cognates after the prayer, FEP Party President Çiğdem Asafoğlu stated that the European Parliament elections are very important for the solution of the problems of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace. Asafoğlu expressed their full belief that the Western Thrace Turks will give full support to the FEP Party as in the previous elections.
In the statement made by the party after the visit to Şapçı, "On Friday, 3 May, we visited Şapçı with our AP MP candidates. We met with the public bazaar and tradesmen and then performed the Friday prayer. We would like to thank all our people who gave us a warm welcome in the Şapçı region."
