On Friday, October 4, 2024, Ilayda Ünal, the wife of Türkiye's Consul General in Komotini, Aykut Ünal, welcomed women from the Xanthi and Komotini Mufti offices at the consulate residence.
The event was highlighted on the social media account of the Turkish Consulate in Komotini, which stated, "Today, we had the pleasure of hosting the esteemed wives of the Muftis of Xanthi and Komotini, along with the female staff of the Mufti offices, at the Consulate residence."
