Hope List delegation holds key meetings in Xanthi
VISITS TO RELIGIOUS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS
Tarkan Multaza, head of the Hope List and opposition leader of Kozlukebir Municipality, led a delegation to Xanthi on Wednesday for a series of official visits. Accompanied by elected council members from Domruköy, Küçük Müsellim, Haciören, and Dolapçılar—namely İbrahim Şakir, Ayhan Yusuf, Ferhat Deli Hüseyin, and Güner Reşit—the group met with local minority leaders.
The first stop was the office of Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi and Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board. The meeting took place in a warm and sincere atmosphere, where they discussed matters concerning the local Muslim Turkish minority.
CONDOLENCES AND COMMUNITY ISSUES
Following the meeting at the muftiate, the delegation visited the Xanthi Turkish Union (İTB), where they were welcomed by President Ozan Ahmetoğlu. Multaza and his colleagues offered their condolences to Ahmetoğlu, whose father had recently passed away. The visit concluded with a friendly conversation over tea, during which the parties exchanged views on current issues facing the Turkish minority in Western Thrace.
