Hilmi Eren Sait elected new president of GAT

The 29th Ordinary General Assembly of the Young Academics Community (GAT), which operates under the umbrella of the Western Thrace Minority Higher Education Association, was held on Saturday, March 29. Following the elections, Hilmi Eren Sait was elected as the new president of GAT.
A total of 118 votes were cast in the elections, and on the same day, the distribution of responsibilities within the new board was finalized.
New GAT Executive Board:
President: Hilmi Eren Sait (72 votes)
Vice President: Azra Hasan (71 votes)
General Secretary: Metehan Mehmet (75 votes)
Treasurer: Yasemin Arap (66 votes)
Vice President for Sports Affairs: Volkan Ali (68 votes)
Member: Emre Kaşıkçı (45 votes)
Member: Emre Kamil (44 votes)
Substitute Members:
Eslem Ali Çavuş (37 votes)
Fatma Hüseyin (37 votes)
Barış Kacel Ahmet (35 votes)
The newly elected board is expected to continue GAT’s mission of supporting young academics in Western Thrace and fostering stronger community engagement.
