Gümülcine music school to host international Erasmus student exchange
The Gümülcine (Komotini) Music High School will host the fourth transnational learning activity of the Erasmus project “Digital Harmony – Steering Social Media Towards Positive Mental Health & Active Societal Participation.”
The program, running since December 2024, aims to promote digital literacy, safe social media use and positive online behavior, while raising awareness about student mental health and encouraging active digital citizenship across Europe.
The meeting will take place in Gümülcine from April 20 to 24, bringing together 15 students and 10 teachers from France, Italy, Romania and Turkiye.
Planned activities include interactive workshops on digital safety, balanced social media use and online empathy, as well as training in digital storytelling as a tool for expression. Participants will also create group digital projects such as videos and artistic performances using modern tools.
The program further focuses on developing critical thinking skills, particularly in identifying and analyzing misinformation, while also featuring cultural activities aimed at fostering intercultural understanding and mutual respect.
