FUEN TAG 2024 holds its first online meeting
Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN) Turkish Minorities / Communities Working Group (TAG) held its first online meeting of 2024 on Saturday, 30 March.
The meeting attended by FUEN Vice President Nabi İbrahimcik was chaired by FUEN TAG Spokesperson Halit Habipoğlu. The meeting was attended by Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF) representing the Turkish community in Western Thrace, Friendship Equality Peace Party (Fatih Hüseyinoğlu), Kosovo Young Unity Association representing Kosovo Turks, International Association of Meskhetian Turks "VATAN" representing Meskhetian Turks, Ukrainian Gagauz Union representing Gagauz people in Ukraine and "Meras" Association for the Preservation and Development of Gagauz Language and Culture representing Gagauz people in Moldova.
At the meeting where FUEN Vice President Nabi İbrahimcik made a welcoming speech, FUEN TAG Spokesperson Halit Habipoğlu reported on the activities carried out as FUEN TAG since the FUEN TAG Annual Meeting held in Western Thrace on 1-4 November 2023. The Turkish minorities and communities participating in the meeting also reported on the developments affecting their communities in the countries where they live in the last five months and the activities of their associations.
FUEN TAG Spokesperson conveyed the developments regarding the study visits to be organised by FUEN TAG within the scope of the activities for 2024 and the annual meeting to be held in Ankara in 2024.
