From Different Countries Erasmus+ Participants in Komotini
Within the Youth Exchange Program, Erasmus + participants from different countries of Europe met in Komotini. A kind of Erasmus+ Framework which is called “Hand by Hand” Youth Exchange Program takes place in Komotini. The event, which is financed by the European Commission, is hosted by the Europe Direct Office.
The program is held in Komotini from July 27 until August 4 with a total of 30 participants from 6 different countries. The young participants from Germany, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine, Spain and Portugal work on themes as Migration, Human Rights Protection and Popularization of Non-Formal Education like Erasmus+. The workshops start at 8 am and end at 5 pm while during that time participants present the current problems of their countries on the related issues. Moreover, they give proper solutions and exchange knowledge with each other.
From the coordinators of project Mrs Elina shares that they selected Komotini for this organization because it was a student-friendly city. In addition, they aim to pay attention to towns and to focus on non-popular regions in Europe in order to represent these places to future Exchange participants.
The managers invite everyone who is interested in the event until August 4.
