Fire breaks out in the rural area at the entrance to Satıköy
When it was realised that the fires started, the villagers started extinguishing the fires first. Then, the Komotini Fire Department and Kozlukebir Municipality were immediately informed.
The fires that broke out at many points in the rural area close to the settlement were brought under control as a result of the interventions.
Giving information to MİLLET about the fires, Kozlukebir Municipality Council Member and Satıköy Azası Barış Hüseyin stated that fires broke out simultaneously at different points in the fields near the houses at the western exit of the village at 12.30 pm today.
Barış Hüseyin stated that upon the realisation of the fires, first the residents of the village and then the firefighters who went to the area carried out the extinguishing works and that the fires were taken under control and extinguished as a result of the interventions made, but that the firefighters continued cooling works just in case.
There is no clear information about who or who started the fires or how they started.
