FEP Party: This mentality has nothing to do with democracy
In the statement made by the FEP Party, "A mentality that cannot even tolerate the existence of an association founded by people who support a sports club cannot be remotely related to democracy."
The statement made on the social media accounts of the party is as follows:
"Today, we have learnt with great concern the closure decision of the Western Thrace Fenerbahce Association issued by the Civil Court of First Instance of Komotini.
The fact that our country Greece continues its policy of looking for a calf under the ox and continues to harm the minority institutions in this context is of great concern to us.
A mentality that cannot even tolerate the existence of an association founded by people who support a sports club has nothing to do with democracy.
Unfortunately, today a new one has been added to the unjustly closed associations of our minority and the democracy of our country has regressed one step further.
We express our solidarity with the Western Thrace Fenerbahce Association and demand that the unjust closure decision be reversed as soon as possible!"
