FEP Party issues statement on the unresolved attack on party headquarters nine years ago

Despite nine years having passed since the attack on the headquarters of the Friendship, Equality, and Peace (FEP) Party, the incident remains unresolved.

In a statement released by the party, it was emphasized that the perpetrators of this attack must be identified and brought to justice without further delay.

The statement reads as follows:

“It has been nine years since the heinous attack on the headquarters of the FEP Party on December 8, 2015. This cowardly act was not merely a physical assault on a building but a provocation against the existence, rightful struggle, and historical heritage of the Western Thrace Turkish community.

Perpetrated by the group calling itself ‘Guardians of Thrace,’ this attack involved the theft of the car in which our late founder and leader, Dr. Sadık Ahmet, tragically lost his life in an accident. Additionally, significant damage was inflicted on the building and its contents.

Despite all efforts over the past nine years, no progress has been made in uncovering the truth behind this incident. We reiterate our demand for the identification and prosecution of the perpetrators and for justice to be served without delay. Such attacks will never deter us from our rightful cause or our struggle for unity and solidarity.”
