Friendship Equality Peace (FEP) Party, within the framework of the European Parliament election campaigns, held its third rally on 30 May Thursday in the Bağlar neighbourhood of Komotini. The rally was marked by the decision to close the Western Thrace Fenerbahce Association.

In his speech, FEP Party President Çiğdem Asafoğlu reacted against the closure of the Western Thrace Fenerbahce Association with a court decision. Stating that the decision taken was antidemocratic, Asafoğlu said "Today we are all Fenerbahce". Stating that the association cannot be closed down and that the necessary legal struggle will be waged to keep it open, Asafoğlu said that the FEP Party participated in the elections in order to make the voice of the Muslim Turkish Minority of Western Thrace heard in Athens and Europe.

At the rally, the candidates for the EP parliamentary seats in the list of the FEP Party took the floor one by one and expressed their thoughts about the elections to be held and asked the people to support the struggle of the FEP Party for the minority community.

In their speeches, the candidates called on voters to go to the polls on Sunday 9 June and cast their votes.
