FEP Party highlights minority issues with ‘Being a Minority Requires Courage’ campaign
The Friendship, Equality, and Peace (FEP) Party has released a video under the slogan “Being a Minority Requires Courage” to draw attention to the challenges faced by the Turkish minority in Western Thrace.
As of today (Tuesday, February 18), DEB Party has shared the video on its social media platforms in Turkish, Greek, and English, emphasizing key issues such as minority education and other pressing concerns.

"February 18, 2025 – Western Thrace… Health issues, economic struggles, migration, denial of identity, threats, intimidation policies, educational difficulties, and the closure of minority schools…
So, what is the solution?
Industrial and technological investments in our region
Science- and technology-based reforms in minority education
Dialogue between authorities and minority representatives
Ending denial and intimidation policies
Objectivity and acknowledgment of reality
TRUTH REQUIRES COURAGE!”
The campaign aims to raise awareness about the systematic challenges faced by the Turkish minority in Western Thrace and calls for constructive dialogue and policy reforms.
