FEP Party calls for restoration of rights amid mosque provocation

The Friendship, Equality, and Peace Party (FEP) has condemned the actions of state-appointed Muftis in Xanthi, calling for the restoration of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority’s rights.
In a statement, FEP criticized the provocative actions of appointed religious officials during Friday prayers at the Çınar Mosque, urging the government to respect the community’s wishes regarding their religious leadership and other fundamental rights.
The party called on the authorities to address long-standing issues related to the appointment of Muftis, the administration of minority schools, and the management of religious endowments (vakıfs), urging the government to take immediate action.
