Evros: Female soldier arrested for domestic violence against her military partner

Another case of domestic violence has been recorded in Greece, involving a military couple in the Evros region.
The Incident
The altercation occurred on Sunday when neighbors of the couple, who are not married, alerted the police. Authorities arrested the female soldier on charges of domestic violence, illegal use of force, and issuing threats, under the immediate arrest protocol.
Details of the Altercation
The non-commissioned officer, stationed at a well-known unit in northern Evros, was at the home of her partner, also a non-commissioned officer, serving in the Alexandroupolis area. During a heated argument, she reportedly caused visible marks on his face with her hands. Upon the arrival of the police, the man filed an official complaint for domestic violence.
Military Tribunal and Release
The woman was detained under the immediate arrest procedure and appeared before the Military Court in Xanthi on Monday to provide explanations. Subsequently, the responsible prosecutor ordered her release, and she was referred for further legal proceedings in accordance with protocol.
