Erdem Hüseyin new mayor of Kozlukebir Municipality
The people of Kozlukebir Municipality went to the polls for the second time today to elect the mayor for the new term.
In the 2nd round, Rıdvan Ahmet, the current mayor and the chairman of the Democratic Power List, and Erdem Hüseyin, the chairman of the Unity List, competed.
Residents of the municipality favoured innovation in the second round. In the villages, results came from 54 ballot boxes so far. In most of the opened ballot boxes, Erdem Hüseyin was superior to his rival Rıdvan Ahmet.
According to the results of the opened ballot boxes, Erdem Hüseyin received a total of 5.176 votes while the current mayor Rıdvan Ahmet received 3.726 votes. According to these unofficial results, Erdem Hüseyin became the new mayor of Kozlukebir Municipality.
