Erdem Hüseyin calls on minister: Increase firewood allocation for OGA pensioners!

Mayor of Kozlukebir, Erdem Hüseyin, has called for an increase in the amount of firewood assistance provided to OGA pensioners.
In a letter addressed to Environment and Energy Minister Theodoros Skilakakis, Mayor Hüseyin expressed his concerns about the reduced allocation of firewood for residents of several regions, including Dolapçılar, Hacıköy, Durhasanlar, and others.
He emphasized the harsh winter conditions in the mountainous areas of Kozlukebir, where many elderly residents rely heavily on firewood to stay warm. Noting the reduced allocation for 2024 compared to previous years, Hüseyin urged the Minister to restore firewood supplies to their previous levels to prevent hardship during the coming winter months.
