Enthusiastic hatim ceremony in Xanthi Çınar Mosque

The Hatim ceremony of Xanthi Aşağı Mahalle Çınar Mosque Qur'an Course, which operates within the body of Xanthi Mufti's Office, took place on Sunday, 2 June 2024.

The hatim ceremony organised by Xanthi Aşağı Mahalle Çınar Mosque Qur'an Course took place with great enthusiasm and with the participation of a large crowd.  

In the hatim ceremony held in Çınar Mosque, the successful performance of the students, who were meticulously trained and prepared for the ceremony by the teachers of the Qur'an Course, Yıldız Uzun, Fatma Mete, Müzeyyen Onbaşı, Cemali Burbun, Emin Darmon (Imam), Fatma Alihoca, Bünyamin Çolak, Merve Kabur, Mürvet İmamefendi, with the Qur'an, poems and hymns, was highly appreciated and appreciated by thousands of people attending the ceremony.

Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, who participated in the khatim ceremony, made the prayer and the opening speech. Mufti Trampa congratulated those who contributed to the organisation of this hatim, the teachers and students for this beautiful event and emphasised the importance of unity and solidarity. Mufti Trampa also thanked the guest lecturers from our motherland Turkey for their participation in the event.

Afterwards; Muhammed Masum Vanlıoğlu, one of the guest lecturers from Turkey, Yunus Elmas, representative of Bosphorus University Students Association (BURA), Hüseyin Baltacı, President of WTMUGA, Ozan Ahmetoğlu, President of ITB and Chairman of the Council of Xanthi Minority Secondary School-High School, İrfan Hacıgene, Vice-President of the State, Ahmet Kurt, Mayor of Mustafçova and Hüseyin Zeybek, MP for Xanthi also made speeches on the meaning of the day.

After the hatim activity, the children who made a hatim presented a rose to the protocol members.

The poems about Palestine read by our students marked the ceremony.

After the Hatim ceremony, following the noon prayer, traditional meat pilaf and buttermilk were served to thousands of guests attending the ceremony.
