Drug parcels containing cocaine and cannabis seized in İskeçe

Two Arrests Linked to Drug Parcels
In two separate incidents on March 16 and March 21, anti-narcotics officers arrested two men in İskeçe after identifying them as recipients of suspicious packages.
The first suspect received a parcel containing:
- Two packages of raw cannabis (19.5 grams total)
- One package with a small quantity of processed cannabis
- The second suspect was found to be collecting a package containing:
- Cocaine weighing approximately 12 grams
All substances were confiscated by authorities.

Beyond Xanthi, coordinated police checks across multiple cities led to a total of 12 arrests and the formation of 12 separate case files related to drug law violations.

- Drama
- Gümülcine
- Kavala
Seized Substances and Equipment
During searches of three homes, a vehicle, and individuals, police confiscated:
- 126.6 grams of raw cannabis
- Small quantities of cocaine, heroin, and crystal methamphetamine
- Synthetic drug known as “bonsai”
- 14 narcotic pills
- 2 precision electronic scales

Greek authorities emphasize that these targeted operations are part of a broader strategy to combat drug distribution networks and reduce substance abuse across the region.
