Drinking water issue largely resolved for three villages
Over the years, multiple municipal administrations have attempted to address the issue, but a permanent solution had remained elusive.
Under the leadership of Mayor Erdem Hüseyin, the current administration has made significant strides in resolving this persistent problem. The efforts appear to have substantially alleviated the water scarcity in these villages.
Mayor Hüseyin, along with his deputy mayors and local elected officials, visited the water collection depot in the region to assess the situation. They inspected the water flow, its intensity, and the storage levels, sharing videos and photos with the public to demonstrate the improvements.
In a statement, Mayor Hüseyin expressed his satisfaction, saying, "As a result of the recent efforts we have undertaken, we are proud to have largely resolved the long-standing drinking water issue that has plagued the YAKA region (Dolapçılar, Durhasanlar, Hacıköy) for many years."
