Dr. Sadik Ahmet's name to be kept alive in Keşan
The bridge crossing in Keşan will be named Dr. Sadık Ahmet.
Keşan Municipality of Edirne province of Türkiye decided to keep alive the name of "Dr. Sadik Ahmet" by naming the crossroads located at the entrance of the district “Dr.Sadik Ahmet.”
The Republic of Türkiye General Directorate of Highways Name Selection Committee gave a positive response to the request of Keşan Municipality, dated 6 May 2022 and protocol number E-14696342-000-25017, and determined the name of the intersection as "Dr. Sadık Ahmet".
The naming ceremony for the bridge will be held in Keşan on Saturday, January 7, the birthday of Dr. Sadık Ahmet.
It was stated that the President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Mustafa Şentop, as well as other guests, will attend the ceremony.
The ceremony will start on Saturday, January 7 at 11:00, at the Keşan Ağadayı Meeting Hall, with the Dr.Sadık Ahmet Panel.
At 12.30, a naming ceremony will be held in the area where the interchange is located.
