The Keşan Highway Bridge-Junction, located approximately 20 km from the İpsala Border Gate connecting Türkiyeto Greece, was named Dr.Sadık Ahmet.
Under the auspices of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of TürkiyeMustafa Şentop, the opening ceremony was hosted by the Edirne Governorship, the Keşan District Governorate and the Keşan Municipality. Mustafa Şentop, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Türkiye's Consul General to Komotini, Aykut Ünal, Dr.Sadık Ahmet's wife Işık Sadık Ahmet, son Levent Sadik Ahmet and daughter Funda Sadik Ahmet were among those who attended.
In addition, the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority from Western Thrace, Mufti of Gümülcine (Komotini) İbrahim Şerif, Mustafa Trampa, the Mufti of İskeçe (Xanthi), Çiğdem Asafoğlu, the Chairman of the FEP Party, members of the Advisory Board, and compatriots from Western Thrace attended the ceremony.

President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities Abdullah Eren from his social media account published a meaningful message on the occasion of Sadik Ahmet's birth anniversary.
Abdullah Eren made the following statements in his message:
“Western Thrace is one of the geographies where Turks embrace their identity and fight for their rights.
Although places and times change, the will is the same! I commemorate the late Sadik Ahmet, the leader of the Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority, my Uncle Sadik with mercy on the 76th anniversary of his birth.

As it will be remembered, a commemoration program was organized by the President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), Abdullah Eren, on the 75th birthday of Dr. Sadik Ahmet at the Conference Hall of the Presidential Complex National Library in Ankara.
In the program, a book was prepared by YTB to introduce the legacy of Dr. Sadık Ahmet to future generations.
In the book, which consists of the articles of academicians and experts, attention was drawn to the Turks of Western Thrace and the problems they experienced, while sections on Dr. Sadik Ahmet's life, struggle and the legacy of the lawsuit he left were included.
