Domestic violence incident in Dedeağaç: Young woman hospitalized
A severe case of domestic violence has occurred in Dedeağaç, where a young woman was assaulted by her partner under the influence of drugs. According to reports from SKAI, the 30-year-old mother of two suffered verbal abuse and physical violence at the hands of her partner. The attacker broke the woman's arm and then set fire to the couch they were sitting on. The flames quickly spread throughout the home.
The woman managed to extinguish the fire before escaping the house and immediately contacted the police. The assailant remains at large.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and will stay at a shelter afterward. However, due to not having a mobile phone, she was unable to receive a "panic button," a device used for emergency situations.
