The Alexandroupoli Chamber of Commerce has announced the extension of shop opening hours in the city center, following official approval by the Municipality of Alexandroupoli (Decision No. 22958).

Under the new schedule, retail stores will open in the evening from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during the summer period—from July 1 to August 31, 2025.
This adjustment comes within the framework of Law 5039/2023, Article 137, which allows for flexible operating hours for commercial businesses. The aim is to support local commerce during the peak tourist season and enhance the shopping experience for residents and visitors alike.
