Consul General Ünal meets quota teachers in Western Thrace on Teachers’ Day
Türkiye’s Consul General in Komotini, Aykut Ünal, hosted a Teachers’ Day gathering for Turkish-appointed quota teachers serving in Western Thrace. Ünal and his wife, İlayda Ünal, welcomed the educators and their families at a breakfast event held on Sunday, 23 November.
The teachers, who serve in minority schools under the Western Thrace Turkish Minority, were congratulated on their day and thanked for their contributions to education in the region.
The Consulate General shared a message on its social media accounts regarding the event, stating:
"On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, we met with the quota teachers serving in minority schools and their families. We wish our teachers continued success in their duties and extend our congratulations to all educators on Teachers’ Day."
