Consul General Ünal continues to come together with kinsmen
Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini, Aykut Unal, visited the village of Uysalli in Rhodope today (Friday, 2 February) and performed the Friday prayer with the cognates.
In the post made on the social media account of the Consulate General of Türkiye in Komotini regarding the visit, the following statements were made: "We were the guests of our compatriots in the village of Komotini/Uysallı."
İbrahim Şerif, Mufti of Komotini, said in his post: "Today (2 February 24) we performed the Friday prayer in the village of Uysallı, one of our lowland villages. We told the congregation about the Miraj event. We would like to thank the village administrators who welcomed us warmly and offered us refreshments."
During his visit to Uysallı village, Consul General Aykut Ünal was accompanied by Consul General Barış Çulha, President of the Consultative Board of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace and Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif, FEP Party Vice President Metin Hacıosman and engineer İbrahim Kamil from Komotini.
