Civil engineer Recep Emin candidate from the list of Metios
Recep Emin was nominated as a candidate for the state councilor for Xanthi region from the list of the President of the Region of Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, Christos Metios.
Civil Engineer Recep Emin made a statement on his social media account about his candidacy: "Dear friends, in the elections for the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace to be held in October 2023, I accept the honouring offer of the current president Mr. Christos Metios and announce my candidacy from the list of Xanthi. I accept the honouring offer of Hristos Metios and announce my candidacy from the list of Xanthi to you, my dear people."
Recep Emin, who also made a statement to Millet newspaper about his candidacy, made the following statements:
"I accepted the honouring offer of Region President Metios. This is the first time I am taking part in such an election race. I believe that Mr. Metios and his team have done important work for our region and will continue to do so. I believe that stability in local governments is important. I believe that I will be useful in the state assembly with the experience I have gained in my profession. The support of our people and the duty they will give us are above our heads. I sincerely wish success to the other candidates."
Recep Emin resides in Koyunkoy, Xanthi. Civil Engineer Recep Emin graduated from Larisa Technical University and is married with 3 children.
