The poetry and story books of Müberra Karadayı, Ayşe Adem and Hüseyin Mehmet, (writers of Bağlar Magazine) published by YTB, were introduced in Edirne.

The poetry and story books of Müberra Karadayı, Ayşe Adem and Hüseyin Mehmet, published by YTB, were introduced at Edirne YTB Coordination Center.

The event took place on Saturday, December 9, within the framework of the "Book promotion and interview program" organized by the Edirne Coordination Office of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB).

At the event, the story book "KALANLARA" (Those who remain) written by Hüseyin Mehmet, the owner of the FİYAKA and Saklambaç magazines, the poet Ayşe Adem's poetry book “KUŞA BENZEME OYUNU" (Bird Pretend Game) and the poetry book “GÜNEŞE YAKIN” (Close to the Sun) published by poet Müberra Karadayı were introduced.

Hüseyin Mehmet introduced the Culture and Arts Literature Magazine Bağlar, which is published for the Balkans, and told the story of the story book he wrote. Mehmet also gave information about FIYAKA Thought and Literature Magazine and Saklambaç Children's Magazine, which he published in Western Thrace.

Poet Müberra Karadayı introduced her soon published first poetry book, GÜNEŞE YAKIN (Close to the Sun), and explained to the participants why and how she started writing poetry.

Karadayı also read her poem “Dünyanın Tadı" (The Taste of the World).

Poet Ayşe Adem gave detailed information about her poetry book titled “KUŞA BENZEME OYUNU" (Bird Similarity Game) and talked about her first meeting with poetry, her first poems and her experiences in writing.

Ayşe Adem read her poem “BİR MASAL ANLATILIR SAVAŞIN ORTASINDA”   (A TALE IS TOLD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WAR" and shared it with the participants.

After introducing their books, Western Thracian writers talked to the participants about their experiences on Turkish language, literature and poetry in Western Thrace and the Balkans in general.

Delivering the last speech at the end of the event, YTB Edirne Coordination Office, Officer Fatih Ot congratulated Western Thracian poets and writers and expressed his satisfaction in bringing them together with the students who continue their education with the international education program in Edirne. Fatih Ot said that YTB opened its doors to students not only from the Balkans but from all over the world and never left them alone during their education life in Türkiye.

Fatih Ot noted that YTB Edirne Coordination Office's academy studies and activities for students continue uninterruptedly.

Many university students from Balkan countries, especially from Western Thrace, attended the event.

Trakya University Faculty of Theology lecturer Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentürk was also among the participants.

At the end of the event, Western Thracian poets and writers signed their books and gave them as gifts to the participating students.
