WTMUGA Miracle Theatre draws great interest in Edirne
The Miracle Theatre, operating under the Western Thrace Minority Higher Education Graduates Association (WTMUGA), captivated audiences at Edirne State Theatre with its adaptation of Yılmaz Erdoğan's classic Sen Hiç Ateş Böceği Gördün mü?, directed by Senemahu Topuz.
On January 3, under the coordination of Sevtap Hint and the leadership of WTMUGA President Dr. Hüseyin Baltacı, the team paid a visit to Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer. Following a productive meeting, Governor Sezer hosted the Miracle Theatre team for dinner.
The play, staged on January 4, Saturday evening, received an overwhelming response from the audience at Edirne State Theatre. After the performance, İpsala District Governor Ömer Sevgili and his spouse hosted the team for dinner at their residence.
On January 5, the group visited the YTB Edirne office for breakfast, where Edirne Coordination Office Director Mustafa Şentürk provided information about the YTB and Trakya University. Later, the team visited the Edirne Elderly Care Center, spending time with residents in a heartfelt encounter.
In a statement by WTMUGA, gratitude was expressed to Edirne Governor’s Office, İpsala District Governorship, the Consulate General of Komotini, technical staff, supporting institutions, and the art-loving people of Edirne for their contributions to this fulfilling three-day experience.
