Basic Religious Knowledge Competition of the Muftiate of Komotini completed
The "Basic Religious Knowledge Competition" organised among the Qur'an Courses affiliated to the Mufti's Office of Komotini was completed.
As a result of the qualifiers held on 9 March 2024, finalists were determined in 8 regions. On Saturday 20 April 2024, in the final held at the Karacaoğlan Mosque in Komotini, the Qur'an Courses representing the 8 regions competed head to head and with excitement.
As a result of the final competition, the top three Qur'an Courses were announced:
1st Komotini Central Region: Şehreküstü Mosque K. Course,
2nd Balkan Region: Hacioren K. Course,
3rd Evros Region: Çilingir Mah. K. Course.
In the statement made by the Mufti's Office of Komotini S. Mufti's Office, "We congratulate all our students who participated in the competition, the finalists who successfully represented their regions and courses, the students and courses who finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in this competition, our precious teachers who prepared them for today, our parents who did not withhold their support and made great sacrifices. May their paths be open and their future be bright."
The Virtuous Elected Mufti of Komotini İbrahim ŞERİF, who participated in the final competition, congratulated the contestants, teachers, parents and the audience and talked about the importance of Qur'an Courses, our mother tongue and minority education.
The competition was presented by Deputy Mufti Fehim AHMET and ended with the award ceremony.
