Ashura Day Event at GTGB
In the statement made by the management regarding the event, which was held in the garden of the Turkish Youth Union in Komotini, in which Murat Ömeroğlu, the Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini attended together with his compatriots.
The statement made by GTGB is as follows:
"The Ashura Day Event, which is the symbol of unity, solidarity, brotherhood, sharing, solidarity and fertility, was organized by our Association on Monday, August 22, 2022, with the participation of the Turkish Consul General in Komotini, Murat Ömeroğlu.
Our event took place with the organization of our association's board of directors and our new generation members. ‘Ashura’ were offered to people joined the event in the garden of the association and to the shopkeepers in the vicinity.
