AOX returns to its historic stadium with fire safety certification
The Amateur Athletic Club of Xanthi (AOX) proudly announces the reopening of its historic stadium, which is now certified for active fire protection. This milestone marks the end of a long effort by the club’s new management to address numerous issues that surfaced during the team’s revival process. One major challenge was bringing the stadium up to safety standards to welcome fans back.
In an official statement, the AOX board expressed its appreciation to electrical engineer Mr. Marinos Psomas for his swift and effective work on the project, as well as the Fire Department for their cooperation.
"With this certification, the waiting period is over," stated the board. "It’s time for the resurgence of our beloved team, and for fans to once again raise their red-and-white scarves high in the stands of our historic stadium."
