All KTEL Rhodope buses now equipped with POS payment terminals
KTEL Rhodope has introduced electronic payment options across its entire bus fleet, allowing passengers to purchase tickets using bank cards and mobile payment applications.
The regional public transport operator announced that all of its buses are now equipped with POS terminals, marking another step in the modernization of its passenger services.
Passengers can now purchase tickets on all routes not only with cash but also with credit, debit and prepaid cards. Cards stored in mobile phone applications can also be used for payments.
The initiative is part of KTEL Rhodope's broader effort to modernize its transportation services and provide passengers with more flexible and convenient payment options.
The company is also continuing to renew its bus fleet, with the aim of improving the overall passenger experience while ensuring safer, more comfortable and higher-quality journeys.
"With respect for our passengers and customers, we are moving forward every day with the modernization of our services, with the goal of providing better service and ensuring safe, comfortable and pleasant journeys," KTEL Rhodope said.
The introduction of POS terminals across the entire fleet is expected to make ticket purchases easier for both local passengers and visitors, reducing reliance on cash during bus journeys.
