Greece launches Transpay system for agricultural subsidy payments
The platform was made available on Tuesday, August 18, as part of Greece’s implementation of EU rules requiring greater transparency over agricultural support payments.
According to AADE, Transpay will publish official information on the amounts of agricultural subsidies financed through the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
New platform aims to strengthen transparency
The launch of Transpay is linked to EU Implementing Regulation 2022/128, which provides rules concerning the publication of information on beneficiaries of agricultural support.
AADE said the new digital system is designed to increase transparency in the use of EU funds and protect the financial interests of the European Union.
The platform will also strengthen public oversight of how EU community funds are managed by making relevant agricultural payment information publicly available.
How to access Transpay
The Transpay platform is available online through transpay.aade.gr.
