Erdem Hüseyin, the Mayor of Kozlukebir Municipality, authorised the seals and signatures of all those elected as councillor in the villages without discriminating the list, regardless of the ruling party or the opposition.

In the meeting held yesterday at the Kozlukebir Municipality Assembly, the budget of the municipality for the year 2024 amounting to 20 million euros was discussed, as well as the budget of approximately 2 million euros transferred in the previous administration.

In the discussion among the council members, the determined budget of the municipality and the debt transferred from the previous administration were unanimously accepted.

Apart from that, the new mayor Erdem Hüseyin and his team criticised the former mayor Rıdvan Ahmet and his team for not authorising the councillors elected from the opposition to sign and stamp.

Mayor Erdem Hüseyin stated that they will be at equal distance to all councillors elected in the new term without discrimination and distributed their seals and gave them signatures at the council meeting.

President Erdem Hüseyin stated the following in his written statement on the subject:

"Dear people of Kozlukebir Municipality, at the council meeting held this evening, we unanimously approved our 2024 budget of approximately 20 million euros, in addition, there is a debt of approximately 2 million euros transferred from the previous period to the new administration, approximately 1 million euros of this debt is the electricity institution. In addition, as we promised, we have authorised 36 councillors to stamp and sign without discrimination between the government and the opposition. Finally, I would like to state that the discrimination and marginalisation made in the past periods will never be made to our councillors, our council members and you, our dear residents of Kozlukebir Municipality. Without forgetting that we are a minority municipality, we will try our best to show a friendly and brotherly administration by opening the doors of our municipality to our people to the end. May it be auspicious for our region."
