Aid action for earthquake victims in Türkiye started in Western Thrace

After the several earthquakes in the homeland of Türkiye, the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board launched an aid campaign.

In the statement made by the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board, it was stated that material and goods, clothing and food aids will be collected.

The following statements were made by BTTADK on the subject:

“As the Western Thrace Turkish Minority, the news of major earthquakes that occurred in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş province in Motherland Türkiye and also affected the provinces of Kilis, Diyarbakır, Adana, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Malatya and Hatay has deeply shocked us.

As the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board, we decided to start an aid campaign in order to share the pain of our brothers and show that we stand by them in these difficult days.

Within the framework of the aid campaign initiated by the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board, the financial aid to be collected will be delivered to the earthquake victims in the Motherland Türkiye, through the boards of trustees and imams in the villages;

In Xanthi,
- Xanthi Elected Mufti Office
- Xanthi Turkish Union.
Items, clothing and food aids to be delivered to earthquake victims are also collected by trustees and imams;
