Advisory Board: "We are closely monitoring the investigation into the cause of the fire"

The Advisory Board of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority issued a written statement regarding the fire at the Aşağıköy Minority Primary School.
In their statement, the Advisory Board extended their condolences to the people of Aşağıköy and emphasized that the process is being closely followed.
The full statement from the Advisory Board reads:
“On the night of Saturday, May 17, due to unknown reasons, a fire broke out at the Aşağıköy Minority Primary School, under the jurisdiction of the Maroneia-Sapes Municipality, rendering our school completely unusable.
Fortunately, since the fire occurred late at night and the school has been closed for the past four years, there were no casualties.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the people of Aşağıköy and the entire Minority community, and we are closely monitoring the ongoing investigation into the cause of the fire.”
