Accident on Egnatia Highway claims the life of deputy Mayor

Lazaros Antoniadis, Deputy Mayor of Technical Services for Florina Municipality, tragically lost his life in a traffic accident on Sunday along the Kozani-Larisa section of the Egnatia Highway.
According to reports from ERT, the 60-year-old Antoniadis was driving a truck when, for reasons still unknown, he lost control of the vehicle, crashing into a rock wall on the side of the road. The impact caused the truck's cabin to catch fire, and Antoniadis was pronounced dead at the scene.
Many institutions and organizations in Florina have expressed their condolences, mourning the loss of Antoniadis, who was remembered as a man of high moral values and a dedicated public servant. His contributions to Florina Municipality will be long remembered.
