Accident in Xanthi: Vehicles unrecognisable in violent collision

A serious road accident occurred in Magiko village of Yenice settlement of Avdira municipality of Xanthi.
On Saturday night (18/05) a serious road accident occurred on Melissa road, just outside Magiko, where two vehicles collided violently.
It is not yet clear how the collision occurred, but the violence of the collision caused the vehicles to break into pieces. The collision also caused material damage to the fence of the neighbouring CHEMVIOXAN plant and one of the vehicles crashed into the wall.
Ambulances rushed to the scene to pick up the injured as well as the Police and Fire Brigade.
No information was given about the dead and injured.
