A 40-year-old Turkish citizen arrested in Evros

It was determined that the arrested 40-year-old Turkish citizen had an International Arrest Warrant issued against him for offences committed in his country.
It was determined that the arrested 40-year-old Turkish citizen had an International Arrest Warrant issued against him for offences committed in his country.
On Tuesday morning (15-01-2024) a person was arrested by the police of the Border Guard Directorate in the area of Orestiada. The arrested person was identified by the police as having entered the country illegally and during the check it was established that an International Arrest Warrant had been issued against him.
It is reported that the arrested Turkish citizen will be taken to the Thrace Appeal Prosecutor's Office.
