80-year-old man dies tragically while cutting wood

An 80-year-old man lost his life in a tragic accident while attempting to cut wood at his home.
The incident occurred on Thursday, October 2, in the Nea Hili area of Dedeağaç.
According to reports, the elderly man was using an electric chainsaw in the basement of his house when he lost control of the tool. The saw struck his upper right leg, severing a major artery.
As he was alone at the time, the man quickly bled to death. His wife, worried about his absence, later went down to the basement and found him lying motionless in a pool of blood. Despite her immediate call for help, paramedics arriving at the scene confirmed that the 80-year-old had already passed away.
