23 April enthusiasm at the Consulate General of Türkiye in Komotini
The 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebration, hosted by the Consulate General of Turkey in Komotini, was attended by contingent teachers from Turkey working in some Turkish minority schools in Western Thrace together with their families and children.
Children with white and red clothes danced, played games and had fun to the fullest.
In the post made on the social media accounts of the Consulate General of Komotini, the following statement was made: "The happiness of our children, the future of our country! We celebrated 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day with the families of our Consulate General and our Contingent Teachers. Happy this day, which was gifted to the children of the world by the great Atatürk!"
Consul General Ünal handed over the Consulate General's office to children on 23 April.
