YTB President Abdullah Eren pays visit to Athens
Abdullah Eren, President of Turkey's Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), is conducting official meetings in Athens.
As part of his visit, Eren met with Prof. Dr. Vasiliki Kinti, President of the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), and Prof. Dr. Christos Michalakelis, President of Study in Greece, an organization promoting the internationalization of Greek higher education.
Eren shared details of the meetings on his social media account, stating:
“During my official visit to Greece, I had two productive meetings with the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), the organization responsible for state scholarships in Greece, and Study in Greece, which promotes the internationalization of Greek higher education. We discussed several important topics in the field of education, particularly our country’s official scholarship program, Türkiye Scholarships. I extend my gratitude to IKY President Prof. Dr. Vasiliki Kinti and Study in Greece President Prof. Dr. Christos Michalakelis for their hospitality.”
Eren's visit underscores efforts to strengthen educational collaboration between Turkey and Greece.
