Cyclists from Edirne arrive to Komotini
Redcrescent Cycling Group within Edirne Green Crescent Sports Club organised a cycling tour to Western Thrace.
Edirne Green Crescent Society Marmara Regional Coordinator Sebahattin Bilgiç and 13 cyclists, including board members, came to Western Thrace.
The first stop of the cyclists from Edirne in Western Thrace was Kozlukebir. Green Crescent Association member cyclists were welcomed by Mayor Rıdvan Ahmet in Kozlukebir. After a rest break and a chat, the cyclists travelled to Komotini. The athletes from Edirne visited the Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini, Aykut Ünal.
In the post made on the social media account of the Consulate General of Türkiye in Komotini regarding the visit, the following statements were made: "We welcomed the members of the Edirne Green Crescent Association Cycling Group, who carried out a cycling tour from our country to the province of Rhodope, in our Consulate General".
