Three youths, including a 16-year-old, were arrested on Sunday in the western Athens suburb of Ilion for vandalizing a school building with slogans linked to the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn organization.
Three youths, including a 16-year-old, were arrested on Sunday in the western Athens suburb of Ilion for vandalizing a school building with slogans linked to the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn organization.
According to police, the suspects – aged 16, 20 and 21 – were caught in the act and were later charged with aggravated damage, disobedience and weapons law violations.
During the arrest, police seized an air rifle, air gun pellets, gloves, a full-face mask, a flag bearing a Celtic cross, and stickers and spray paint bearing Golden Dawn slogans.
The trio was taken to the local crime investigation unit and subsequently referred to the competent prosecutor.
