Weather: Clouds, scattered rain, and African dust; slight temperature rise
Greece is expected to see partly cloudy skies on Saturday, with scattered rain in western regions, the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (HNMS) said. Showers will intensify in the Ionian, Epirus, western Central Greece, and western Peloponnese in the evening, with isolated thunderstorms.
Elsewhere, skies will be mostly clear, though clouds will increase from the afternoon. Visibility may be locally reduced in western and northern mainland areas in the morning. Meteorological conditions will favor the transport of African dust, mainly over southern Greece.
Winds will be westerly to southwesterly at 3-5 Beaufort, locally reaching 6 and briefly 7 in the southern Aegean. Temperatures will rise slightly, reaching 15–18°C in the north, 16–19°C in the west, and 18–21°C elsewhere.
Northern Greece (East Macedonia, Thrace)
Skies partly cloudy, increasing in the west in the afternoon, with local rain.
Winds variable at 2–4 Beaufort.
Temperatures: 7–18°C, slightly lower in western Macedonia.

Sunday, Feb. 8: Increased clouds in western and eastern Aegean areas with local rain and isolated morning thunderstorms in the west. Elsewhere, mostly clear skies with temporary cloud increases and local rain in the north and central areas. Snow expected in western and northern mountains. Winds northwesterly at 4–6 Beaufort. Temperatures slightly lower, 15–18°C in west and north, 18–20°C elsewhere.
Monday, Feb. 9: Partly cloudy, increasing in west and north, spreading to other regions. Local rain and isolated thunderstorms expected, with snow in central and northern mountains. Winds southerly 3–5 Beaufort, strengthening to 6–7 in the northern Aegean in the afternoon. Temperatures to fall slightly, mainly in western and northern regions.
