Two people die following gas leak on Evia

Two people have died as a result of a gas leak in a private home on the island of Evia.

Local media reported that an 87-year-old man and a 73-year-old domestic worker were found dead in the detached house, which is located in the Amarynthos area.

Police and firefighters remain at the scene, where an investigation into the causes of the tragedy is continuing.
