Turkish Coast Guard units detained a migrant who was attempting to reach Greece by swimming from the Bodrum district of Muğla province.

According to official reports, the individual was detected at sea by a Coast Guard mobile radar system monitoring the area. A patrol boat was subsequently dispatched to the location, where officers intercepted the migrant before the crossing could be completed.
